Natural Latex Quilt Top Mattress

The fabric can make a distinct difference in how firm or plush a mattress can feel. The stretch knit fabric made with organic cotton is among the highest performing fabrics available, as it stretches and flexes with a persons body contours offering an even more conforming and blissful level of comfort.

The vertical sidewalls are quilted with all-natural French wool and stitched to the fabric made with organic cotton. Integrated ventilation allows body heat to escape, enhancing airflow, temperature regulation, and overall sleep comfort throughout the mattress.

Layers of Pre-Compressed French wool are quilted to the surface covering providing an all natural fire barrier, as well as helping to ventilate body heat and maintain a dry sleeping environment. The untreated French wool is washed only with water and baking soda, and the sheep free graze on open plains and hillsides in France.

An additional 2″ layer of soft natural Talalay latex creates a plush feel on one side of the mattress, while the opposite side maintains a medium comfort level—offering versatile comfort options and added pressure relief within a single, thoughtfully engineered design.

The 7-Zone design Talalay latex core was developed by a sleep doctor in Switzerland, and is made in the Netherlands providing more suppleness to shoulders and hips, while maintaining buoyancy for lower back support. The core is Natural Vita Talalay®, Cradle to Cradle Certified® Gold and certified to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100.

Latex is derived from the white milky liquid from sustainable rubber tree plantations. Latex is hypoallergenic, dust mite, mildew, and mold resistant.

Unlike memory foam, latex maintains its level of firmness and support regardless of room temperature. If the room is cool, memory foam can feel really hard until your body heat activates it to make it softer and more conforming. If the room is warm, memory foam can feel dough like, and the body can sink more into it making it hard to turn over on the mattress.

Royal-Pedic mattresses are built with equal comfort layers on both sides, allowing the mattress to be flipped and used evenly. This double-sided construction promotes more balanced wear and enhanced longevity—unlike no-flip designs, which place all padding on a single side.

Features 50% more modular supports in the center-third where 60% of body weight concentrates. Heavy-duty 8¾ gauge coil wire (versus standard 9½ gauge) mounts on 5-star hotel-grade wide slat construction. Upholstered with finest staple cotton padding and heavy-duty cotton undercloth.
