Natural Latex Quilt Top Mattress

Designed for sleepers who want a low-profile mattress with medium firmness—without metal coils—the Natural Latex Quilt-Top Mattress delivers buoyant support with pressure-relieving comfort. A body-contouring stretch knit cover made with organic cotton enhances surface plushness while maintaining a responsive, supportive feel.

The Natural Latex Quilt-top features a 6" firm, natural Talalay latex core, topped with an additional 2" layer of softer Talalay latex for enhanced pressure relief. These layers are wrapped in all-natural French wool, which provides gentle surface cushioning while naturally wicking moisture and dissipating heat to help regulate temperature throughout the night.

This mattress is two-sided and flippable, allowing you to alternate sides for more even wear and an extended lifespan.

Versatile by design, the Natural Latex Quilt-Top performs beautifully on box springs, platform beds, and adjustable bases. Latex’s natural flexibility allows it to bend and contour smoothly with adjustable bed frames while maintaining consistent support.

Upgrade Your Comfort
For an even more luxurious sleep experience, pair this mattress with our Natural 2" Pillowtop Pad with the optional stretch knit fabric upgrade. This combination softens the feel from a 3 to a 4 on our firmness scale, offering enhanced pressure relief for hips and shoulders while preserving proper spinal alignment.

The Double Diamond Box Spring supports the mattress and provides an extra layer of suspension for increased comfort. The center-third of the box spring contains 50% more modules to add extra support where it’s needed the most. 5-Star hotel grade wide slatted wood frame provides greater durability. Even the box spring is wrapped and padded in fabric and layers made with organic cotton and all-natural French wool.

Stretch Knit Fabric Made with Organic Cotton

The fabric can make a distinct difference in how firm or plush a mattress can feel. The stretch knit fabric made with organic cotton is among the highest performing fabrics available, as it stretches and flexes with a persons body contours offering an even more conforming and blissful level of comfort.

Border Quilted with All Natural French Wool

The vertical sidewalls are quilted with all-natural French wool and stitched to the fabric made with organic cotton. Integrated ventilation allows body heat to escape, enhancing airflow, temperature regulation, and overall sleep comfort throughout the mattress.

All Natural French Wool Quilting

Layers of Pre-Compressed French wool are quilted to the surface covering providing an all natural fire barrier, as well as helping to ventilate body heat and maintain a dry sleeping environment. The French wool is washed in baking soda and water without any chemicals, and the sheep free graze on open plains and hillsides in France.

2" Soft Dunlop Latex Layer

An additional 2″ layer of soft natural Dunlop latex creates a plush feel on one side of the mattress, while the opposite side maintains a medium comfort level—offering versatile comfort options and added pressure relief within a single, thoughtfully engineered design.

Natural Dunlop Latex Core

The Dunlop process natural latex core is of medium firmness, not too hard or too soft for most people. The Latex milk is tapped from sustainable rubber tree plantations in South East Asia, and then produced into mattress cores in Dunlop processing plants.

Hypoallergenic, Dust Mite Resistant

Latex is derived from the white milky liquid from sustainable rubber tree plantations. Latex is hypoallergenic, dust mite, mildew, and mold resistant.

Consistent Support Regardless of Room Temperature

Unlike memory foam, latex maintains its level of firmness and support regardless of room temperature. If the room is cool, memory foam can feel really hard until your body heat activates it to make it softer and more conforming. If the room is warm, memory foam can feel dough like, and the body can sink more into it making it hard to turn over on the mattress.

Two Sided Construction for Longevity

Royal-Pedic mattresses are built with equal comfort layers on both sides, allowing the mattress to be flipped and used evenly. This double-sided construction promotes more balanced wear and enhanced longevity—unlike no-flip designs, which place all padding on a single side.

Double Diamond Box Spring

Features 50% more modular supports in the center-third where 60% of body weight concentrates. Heavy-duty 8¾ gauge coil wire (versus standard 9½ gauge) mounts on 5-star hotel-grade wide slat construction. Upholstered with finest staple cotton padding and heavy-duty cotton undercloth. Unlike typical foundations without give, Royal-Pedic box springs provide flexibility for enhanced suspension and overall comfort.

Layering Staple Cotton

Premium quality staple cotton padding from California and Texas creates a consistently supportive sleeping surface. Pre-compressed and hand-layered, our cotton batting prevents lumps and shifting materials. These natural fibers ventilate body heat and provide superior durability compared to synthetic polyurethane foam found in other mattresses.

Hand Tufting

A time-honored craft from the 1930s, hand tufting compresses materials using British tufting straps threaded through approximately 59 insertion points per queen mattress. This labor-intensive process ensures exceptional orthopedic back support, minimizes body impressions, and prevents material shifting for lasting comfort and stability.

Tape Edging

Binding tape is meticulously sewn onto mattress edges with the same dedicated care we'd use for our own families. This precise finishing technique secures all layers, prevents fraying, and creates clean, durable borders that enhance both the mattress's appearance and its longevity throughout years of use.
